Ulrike Bock holds a M.A. in Latin American History (University of Cologne), teaches at the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences and is currently finishing her PhD thesis on the transformation of the political order in Yucatán/Mexico, 1786–1829. She has published several articles on the political culture of New Spain/Mexico in the Age of Revolutions, including “De los cabildos tradicionales al Congreso del Estado. Prácticas comunicativas y puestas en escena de las instituciones representativas en Yucatán, ca. 1790–1829”, Rubrica Contemporanea, VIII: 15 (2019), 85-103. Currently on maternal leave.
